Corey Hammonds | Founder & Owner

Theodore Ensley, Jr.

Born in raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Ted Ensley has 45 plus years of experience in the Real Estate industry as a Broker and Sales Agent. Ted owned and operated his own residential brokerage firm for over 20 years before joining The Hammonds Group, Inc. In addition to his experience as a licensed Broker, Ted is also a licensed Certified Residential Appraiser in the State of Tennessee. Over the years Ted has accomplished many accolades in the residential real estate industry and also serves as a specialist in personal financial planning services since 1971.

Maurice Lewis

Born and raised in Nashville, TN, George “Maurice” Lewis is passionate about helping others succeed for a better future.  Maurice attended Whites Creek Comprehensive High School and he is a member of the IBEW Electrical Union where he continues to grow his network.  Maurice is a licensed affiliate broker and joined The Hammonds Group, Inc. in July 2021.

Drew Myers

Drew Myers was born in Iowa but moved to Nashville, TN before starting school. After graduating from Hillwood High School he obtained his Business Administration degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN.  Drew has been in the real estate industry in some capacity since 2002.  He spent 17 years working for an asset management company who had marketing contracts with HUD.  He worked closely with listing brokers and handled review of the appraisals, which is when he realized that becoming an appraiser was his true calling.  In 2020, Drew obtained his Appraiser Trainee license and joined forces with The Hammonds Group shortly after to launch his career as an appraiser.

On a personal note, Drew has two daughters who are both married, Maria Myers Kirby (Physical Therapist) and Layne Myers Businda (Elementary School Teacher).  He has always been an avid sports fan, which led him to becoming a high school and college football official, which he is still actively involved in.

Shawn D. Jackson

Shawn D. Jackson is the Director of Sales & Business Development for The Hammonds Group (THG), a real estate developer, and Owner and Founder of Nashville Family Land Partners. Throughout his real estate career he has used property and land acquisition best practices, contract negotiating and project / land development management to grow and maximize returns for his real estate partners and clients. As a real estate developer he identifies strong value-add propositions, aligns capital and resources to accomplish best use cases and land entitlements while coordinating and overseeing the building of single family and multi-family residences. As the founder of Nashville Family Land Partners, he employs various strategies to add to the number of property owners within our gentrifying communities he helps through partnering, infusing capital and managing the development process from start to finish. When he is not collaborating with agents, managing real estate development projects, or helping his clients buy and sell houses, he is spending quality time with his lovely wife Zaia and their two children, Zuri and Zen.

Phillip Boals

Real estate has been Phillip’s passion since entering the industry in 1997.  Phillip is the Director of Appraisals and Realtor for The Hammonds Group.  His expertise is in residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and special-use property valuations as well as land surveying and title analyses. Phillip also holds the distinction of being a licensed commercial drone pilot (Part 107 SUAS Certified) and enjoy utilizing drone technology for aerial photography, videography, 2D & 3D orthomosaic maps, 3D modeling of properties and agricultural crop analyses. When not working, I enjoy reading, astronomy, tennis and following a lifestyle program for optimal health.

Tawntane Townzel

Tawntane Townzel is a native of Davenport Iowa. She attended Jackson State University in Jackson, MS where she majored in Mass Communications and minored in Sociology.  Tawntane thrived in the financial services industry starting in 2005 working with major institutions and excelled in many different roles including Personal Banker, Business Banker and Relationship Manager.

She expanded her career path in 2018 and began her Real Estate career. Tawntane has also worked as a licensed insurance producer in 9 states and includes Life Health, Accident, Property and Casualty lines.

Tawntane is a wife, mother, twin sister and daughter. Tawntane met the love of her life Terell, when she was just thirteen years old. They married in 2021. She has two children, 19 year old daughter Journe’ and 14 year old son Story.

Edgar Osorio

Edgar is young passionate and dynamic real estate agent committed to helping you navigate the exciting world of buying and selling homes. Edgar got his start in real estate by wholesaling investment deals with industry professionals.  Fluent in both English and Spanish, he strives to create a seamless experience for all  clients, whether buying, selling, or renting a property.  With a fresh perspective and an energetic approach, he brings a unique blend of enthusiasm and professionalism to the real estate market.
